HOH had the honor of supporting a courageous FDNY firefighter who lost many of his brothers during the tragic events of 9/11. After that heartbreaking time, he found a new purpose in Oxford, CT, creating a camping site for those seeking solace and peace.
But this August, disaster struck again when severe flooding devastated his home and property. Faced with overwhelming debris, he needed help to begin the cleanup. Thanks to our partnership with Team Rubicon, House of Heroes was able to provide multiple 30-yard dumpsters to get the cleanup underway.
No veteran should ever have to face such immense losses alone. We are so proud to have played a small role in helping this brave hero and his mission.
