Memorial Day Weekend Fundraiser
Thank you to all who came out last night to Aunt Chilada’s for our Memorial Day Weekend Kickoff Fundraiser to support our CT veterans. We had a candle light ceremony in honor of PFC. Eric Soufrine of Woodbridge, an outstanding young man who tragically lost his life in 2011 to a roadside bomb in Afghanistan while serving his nation. Such moving, poignant words from Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro and Eric's mom, Donna Soufrine. We had a candlelight ceremony to honor and remember those close to us who also made the ultimate sacrifice and to the veterans who were close to us who we have lost.
A special thank you to Aunt Chilada’s @aunchies_ for hosting and donating 20% of last nights earnings to HOHCT. A big shout out to Kyle from K&J Tree service @kjtreeservice for hoisting a large American flag from his crane over Whitney avenue.
